I don’t think there is anything stronger then never give up. Life has a natural behavior of throwing stuff at us and seeing if we stumble or fall. The most important thing is to stand up again. Valvano tells us to laugh and tells us more of his life giving us a closer look into him as a person. Recalls moments in his life that shaped how he is today. He finishes saying how thankful he is there and making a promise that he will fight to be there the next year and the next after that.
I think he is a huge inspiration to people everywhere because having to fight one of the worst diseases and still having the strength to keep a smile on his face is amazing. We should all try in our best to be like him and have his sense of happiness and looking forward in life.
